Hark, Citizens!

Got a couple updates for you all...

1) The Mobile Game is no longer being worked on.

As unfortunate as it is, the game company strung me along with lower prices and sprung something large on me at the last moment, which a million dollars isn't exactly feasible. They ALSO said the lower prices counted for them using generative AI.

Here in Strongstead Hills, generative AI will never be used in our projects (except as an in-universe plot device, LOL). AI has NO PLACE here, and this hard dealbreaker combined with a ridiculous price tag has influenced my decision to break away from this idea for the time being and eventually go back to the TCG, which would be cheaper to produce, and honestly, far more fun. Though, if we DO revisit the concept of a game/ online TCG, I'd vastly prefer to go indie, and stay true to our roots as a collab meant for everyone! This segways into my next update quite nicely!

2) The TCG is being worked on again, AND we have a Cool New Deal!

We're currently working on the TCG again, and hoping to launch again for Pocketopia 2026. We have a lot to do before this happens, and I'm intent on getting it done. (This doesn't account for crazy life happenings that may occur, however...) As for the deal, we'll be co-creating with River of Silver River Collectibles to get this game on shelves, online or in-store! Of course, we're still in the early stages of working things out for this, and we want the campaign fulfilled before others can order it on site.

This being said... We'll be drafting up contracts for artists and get promotional events leading up to launch day in the works! If anyone has any ideas for what they'd like to see, such as rewards in the campaign, or questions for me, don't hesitate to give me a message and ask!
